🌊 Activity in English. Explore the beauty of the Costa Brava on our circular route through Cap Roig and Cove de Castell, an experience that combines coarse sandy beaches and blue waters with the tranquility of Mediterranean forests 🏖️. Option to arrive by public transport from Girona 🚌.

We start at Cap Roig in Calella de Palafrugell, following a section of the GR 92 before diverting to the charming Cove del Crit 🏔️. We continue along the coast until we reach Cove Estreta, where you can take a refreshing dip if you like 🏊‍♂️.

🏞️ From Cove Estreta, we ascend along the cliffs to the Iberian settlement of beach of Castell 🏛️. Here, you’ll enjoy an amazing panoramic view of this pristine beach, an impressive spot that has remained untouched over time 🌅. During our journey, we will share stories and legends of the ancient inhabitants of the region 📜.

On the way back, we venture inland, surrounded by cork oaks and various types of pines characteristic of the Mediterranean forest 🌲🌳. In this section, we’ll discover Dalí’s hut 🎨, a fascinating place that adds a cultural touch to our adventure 🚶‍♂️.

The Sherpa will be Violeta León, a neighbour of Girona and who now works in Calella de Palafrugell. He has more than half a life climbing and climbing mountains around the world. He loves to share all these corners with those who want to enjoy nature 🥾📍.

The hike Cap Roig and Cove de Castell is a 7,5 km round trip route with 265 m of positive slope and 265 m of negative slope. The activity lasts 3 – 4 hours, the approximate end time is 13:00. The duration of the activity includes stops for breakfast, taking photos, explanations and the walk 💪.
