The activity begins in the Montgrí Visitor Welcome area, from where we will begin our hiking to the Castle. During the ascent, the views towards Estartit and Torroella de Montgrí will accompany you, offering an always changing and fascinating landscape 🌄🌊.

Once at the Castle, we will make a stop to enjoy a magnificent sunset, where the colors of the sky mix with the silhouette of the fortress, creating an unforgettable postcard. Afterward, we will take a tour of this historic fortress, discovering its secrets and its strategic importance in the history of Catalonia 📜👣.

The Sherpa will be Iris Coma, a mountain lover passionate about sharing the beauty and serenity of outdoor spaces. Iris will show you what it’s like to feel in a new place, enjoying the fresh air and stunning sunset views. In addition, you will learn curiosities and legends about the Montgrí Castle and its surroundings 🥾📍.

The Sunset at Montgrí Castle excursion is a 4.5 km circular route with 280 m of positive slope and 280 m of negative slope. The activity lasts 3-4 hours, the approximate end time is 10:30 p.m. The duration of the activity includes stops for snack, taking photos, explanations and the walk 💪.
